Minha tia me mandou essa reportagem do Telegraph sobre crianças “cross-cultural” (algo como crianças cujas referências culturais são cruzadas). Me identifiquei terrivelmente. Será que alguém mais passa por isso?
Tem o site TCKID.com também. Mesmo não sendo mais criança, fiquei muito carente de saber se tem mais alguém que se sente assim, sem lugar no mundo.
Who is a global nomad? A global nomad is an individual who, spending a significant part of their developmental years in another culture, develops some sense of belonging to both the host culture and the home culture, while not having a sense of total ownership in either. Elements from both (or multiple) cultures are blended, resulting in the third culture.

Tudo bem que esse texto fala de gente que viajou o mundo todo quando criança, o que é o caso da minha mãe e não meu. Mas minhas referências culturais são todas trocadas e vira e mexe eu me sinto completamente sozinha… A parte de ser confundida com minha mãe é direto, e vivem me chamando pra ser a chefe de tudo, apesar de eu não gostar nem um pouco…
